June has been a busy month for Bill and Dr. Franklin. In addition to the always wonderful Independence After Hours shows in Independence Hall and the Tipplers Tours, both with Historic Philadelphia, Inc., I have been in various locations in the Old City historic district on a regular basis. You can find me on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the yard at Christ Church; Tuesday afternoons in the fantastic National Museum of American Jewish History, talking with visitors about Benjamin Franklin’s passion for religious liberty; Thursday afternoons and all day Saturdays in Franklin Court, site of Franklin’s last home. All of these appearances are ongoing throughout mid-August.

I recently enjoyed a fine couple of hours with and international group of lawyers and accountants at the Waterworks by the Schuylkill, and then some energy folks at the Hotel Monaco in Old City. This week, I spent some time in delightful conversation with a group from Adventure Travel by Disney at the City Tavern. Of course, my favorite interaction recently was with a group of senior travelers from Ohio, with whom I spent an hour talking as Ben Franklin, and answering their questions. Senior groups are the best!

As always, visit my website,, and send me any questions that you might have. I am available for any sort of event that you might have in mind.
