November 2015 Happenings

30 Nov 2015, Posted by Founding Franklin in What's Happening

This month finds me engaged in several performances of the delightful Historic Philadelphia tour, Independence After Hours, in which John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and I put the finishing touches on the Declaration of Independence in the Pennsylvania State House, aka Independence Hall before visitors who find us after dining at the City Tavern. Eleven seasons now, and still an honor to perform in that sacred space. Dr. Franklin is welcoming in the holiday season at Elfreth’s Alley, the nation’s oldest continually occupied residential neighborhood, and in Northeast Philadelphia for the Grand Illumination of the American Heritage Federal Credit Union.

I have been privileged to be involved in both of these events for the past several years. Dr. Franklin and I will be at the Franklin Institute for an event, and also will be working with the Friends of Independence National Historical Park for their fund-raising 5K run in the coming days. ( No, Dr. Franklin will not be running, only walking about.)
