Bill Robling has been interpreting the life and personage of Benjamin Franklin for over thirteen years. An actor for nearly forty years, Bill is a serious and passionate student of history, with a commitment to bringing that history to life in a personal, accurate, sometimes humorous way, endeavoring always to “be” Dr. Franklin. Bill works with many organizations such as the National Park Service, the Independence Visitor Center, the National Constitution Center, the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors’ Bureau and many others. He works alongside other historical actors with Historic Philadelphia, Inc. and the American Historical Theatre.

Bill is a Franklin “for all seasons and all reasons”, providing educational programs, corporate meet-and-greets, convention and trade show appearances, film , video and commercial work. You can see his Benjamin Franklin in the History Channel’s film, Benjamin Franklin: an American Life.
