It is the beginning of August. I am currently engaged in a project that I’ve been involved with since its inception ten seasons ago. Working with Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and others on the Independence After Hours tour for Historic Philadelphia, Inc. It is a fun and informative pairing with the City Tavern and the National Park Service. Also, everything from corporate meet-and-greets to promotional work with the American Historical Theatre and the Camden Riversharks minor league baseball team.
This week I had the distinct honor and privilege to meet with representatives of the Paralyzed Veterans of America, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, as they opened the 34th annual Paralyzed Veterans’ Wheelchair Games. The spirit of those people who sacrificed so much, and of the people who fight every day to achieve justice and fairness for them, is inspiring. I was grateful to be included in this event.
